Turn a screenshot or a photo of a page into text you can copy. Choose a picture, drop it here or paste it with Ctrl+V; pick the language and press Read text. The picture is never uploaded.
This is automatic text recognition, so it makes mistakes: expect errors with small or blurry text, handwriting, curved or tilted pages, unusual fonts and low contrast. Tables, columns and layout are not kept, only the text. The confidence figure is the engine's own estimate, not a measured accuracy. Very large pictures are scaled down to keep phones from running out of memory, and a long page can take a minute on a slow phone. Always read the result before you use it for anything that matters.
Is my picture uploaded? No. The recognition runs in your browser; the reading engine and language files are downloaded from this site, and your picture stays on your device.
Which languages work? Chinese (Simplified and Traditional), English, Turkish and Spanish. Pick the one that matches your picture; the wrong language gives poor text.
Why is the first run slow? The page has to download the reading engine and language data once. Later runs reuse the copy your browser kept.
