Swap a plain background (a wall or backdrop of one color) for white, blue, red or a color you pick. Click the background in the preview, adjust the tolerance, then download. Nothing is uploaded.
The preview appears after you choose a photo. Click the background in the preview to tell the tool which color to replace.
This is a color-matching tool, not AI cut-out. It only replaces background pixels that are close to the color you clicked and connected to the edge of the picture, so it works best with an even backdrop and a subject whose clothes and hair differ from it. Shadows, gradients and hair against a similar color can leave a fringe or a bite out of the subject. The blue and red swatches are common choices (blue 67, 142, 219; red 255, 0, 0), not an official standard: use the exact color and size your application asks for, and check the issuing authority's photo rules, because a changed background does not guarantee acceptance. Photos over about 16 million pixels are refused so phones do not run out of memory. Need exact pixels or a file-size limit afterwards? Try resize photo or compress image to KB.
Is my photo uploaded? No. The color change happens locally in your browser.
Is this AI background removal? No. It matches colors, so it needs a fairly plain background; it cannot cut a person out of a busy scene.
Why is there a thin line around the head? The old background color blends into the edge pixels. Raise the tolerance a little or raise Edge softness, and check the result at full size.
